{A Froggy Birthday}

This week we celebrated Nico's 2nd birthday. I've had the pleasure of celebrating this little one's life since his mama's Baby Shower and then his first birthday.  For his second birthday we wanted to give him a hopping good time with a frog theme.  His favorite character is Sr. Sapo (Mr. Frog) from a local children's band called Atención Atención, so we used this as inspiration.

A little frog with a blue tie was our main focus.  I got thet cute frog graphics from Pixel Paper Prints and added the little tie.  Our scolor scheme was lime green, blues and a touch of orange and yellow.

As always, I partnered with some fantastic vendors.  Johanna Padín from GloboArte created a balloon grid background and huge columns featuring our little froggy friend.

Delicious and fun desserts were served on our main table.  Frog cake pops, layered Jell-O, brownies, lemon bars, nutella mousse tarts, french macarons along with all the usual favorites chocolate disks, sixlets and rock candy.  There were also these cute frog cookies by Peggy Pérez.

The cake is our centerpiece of this table, along with the cupcakes with fondant frog themed toppers.

I also created a kiddie table for the little ones. I was lucky to find frog melamine plates and cups and complemented each setting with striped straws, personalized water bottles, and the cutest bunting along with fresh flowers in ceramic pots and aluminum buckets.

Cute, right?! Until next time!

{Peppa Pig Party}

My next party was really fun to put together.  Little Mia loves all things Peppa Pig.  And, frankly, who doesn't! My own little boy loves her, so we knew it would be a great hit among the little ones.  For those of you who don't know Peppa, she is a little British animated character whose show runs in Nick Jr.

So with this party we had to be really creative since there are no Peppa Pig party supplies in our part of the world.  First off, we created a magnificent balloon backdrop scene complete with Peppa's house, apple trees, flowers and our two main characters.

Check out the cute centerpieces!

A simple yet complete dessert table offered our guests delicious treats such as mud pies, nutella tarts, Peppa sugar cookies, cupcakes, cookie dough brownies, rainbow push pops and all time favorite candy such as sixlets, rock candy and gumballs.

The fantastic cake was created by our very talented cake designer Jovanna.

Each kid received a picnic basket to fill with lots of additional candy from a piñata.
