{Little Man Baby Shower}

Hi guys!

Now this party was the most delicate and cute for a baby boy whose arrival was a long time coming.  So the mom-to-be wanted to call this party "It was worth the wait..."  so of course, we had to use this phrase throughout the planning and styling.  To make this shower as boyish as possible we created this clip art from scratch.  The onesie with a tie has been used before but I wanted to make this one myself.

So starting with the invitation, I used bling cards stock in shades of blue, white and gray in an enclosing envelope so that we could incorporate the gift registry cards.

The setting was created by a local decorator who used white curtains to block the sun and create a backdrop for all the cute decorations:  tissue and flower pom poms, lanterns, ribbon...  For the candy bar we used our mom-to-be's bedroom furniture!  It turned out amazing.  We also used a desk and chair to display cake pops and mini cakes and a side table for a baby basket with heirloom baby blankets.

The banner hanged from the chest of drawers to pull everything together.

Another side table was used for our huge wishing tree.

Party favors included hand made personalized soaps and mint tins.  The soaps were packed on silver jewelry boxes and tied with satin ribbon and fabric covered buttons.

The candy bar included sugar cookies, jumbo marshmallows, kisses, gummy rings all in shades of blue and placed in apothecary jars decorated with satin ribbon and candy labels.

Silver favor boxes to fill with candy...

Finally, we created these darling cards and hanged them from the back of guests chairs. They all had different messages that defined the blessing that this baby meant for this family.

Love,

{Nautical 1st Bday Bash}

Hello again!
It's been a while since I've posted anything.  Hopefully I'll be able to share some of the parties we've styled since last July..

So first off I'd like to share this cute party we crated for my little nephew Gabriel who turned ONE last November.  My sister in law was set on a Nautical theme so we started planning this party as soon as I was done with my son's Golf Par-Tee.

As always, I found this awesome clip art from Little Prints Parties on Etsy.com that was perfect.  With that I created everything from the invitations, candy bar labels, banner and more!

The invitation was layered over red card stock and the little waves were layered also on top so that it had some dimension.

The sweets table was full of delicious candy including home made chocolate dipped marshmallows and strawberries, rock candy, lollipops, gumballs and, of course, gummy sharks and Swedish fish!  Here are some close up photos from the candy and candy labels.

For the cake we ordered a basic white layered cake and we put on the decorations created by my creative cousin.

Party favors included squirt toys, fish shaped bendy straws, coloring pages, crayons, and lots of candy, all inside these cute canvas totes from Oriental Trading.

And to complete the look, my brother in law used the clip art to create these cute shapes from foam to place around the yard.

What a great day! :)
