{Mauricio's Golf Birthday Par-Tee}

It's finally here! My little boy's 3rd birthday! I had a blast planning this party, not only because it was for my sweetie pie, but because of this wonderful theme and venue. We had the party at a local Mini Golf course with a huge and "live" volcano! I knew that my baby would have a great time playing with daddy and with his cousins and friends!

I designed the invitation using a little golfer graphic from Riefka Desing that I found at MyGrafico. I used felt and a toothpick for the green and flagstick. I also had to put a little airplane carrying a banner just because he is still into airplanes!

This wonderful and delicious cake was made by a local artist. She made the little boy and the golf cart from the clipart collection and they turned out amazing.

The candy buffet turned out exactly as I imagined it! Lots of candy in blue, green and white. For the backdrop I used a synthetic grass rug I found at The Home Depot, hanged it from the tent and covered the top with several tissue paper pom poms I made. The banner finished off the look I was going for.

Here are some amazing pics of the candy and other personalized items on the candy buffet.. We had Cake pops made by a local vendor at Cake Pops by M, apple rings, apple licorice, popcorn, gumballs, M&M's, sixlets, rock candy and swirl pops.

All the kids received a name tag badge upon arrival and a goodie bag including a trophy, personalized pencils, inflatable golf clubs and other cute stuff.

The centerpieces were lime and silver tin pails filled with real golf balls and tees with a #3 flagstick. The tin pails are from Polka Dot Market.

I designed my own version of the "Keep Calm" posters and framed it to decorate the food table. For food we served "backsWINGS" and "SAMWEDGES" among many other delicious treats from a local caterer.

And now a few photos of my little boy having a blast!

We adore you my little sweet boy! Happy 3rd trip around the sun!
