{Mauricio's Golf Birthday Par-Tee}

It's finally here! My little boy's 3rd birthday! I had a blast planning this party, not only because it was for my sweetie pie, but because of this wonderful theme and venue. We had the party at a local Mini Golf course with a huge and "live" volcano! I knew that my baby would have a great time playing with daddy and with his cousins and friends!

I designed the invitation using a little golfer graphic from Riefka Desing that I found at MyGrafico. I used felt and a toothpick for the green and flagstick. I also had to put a little airplane carrying a banner just because he is still into airplanes!

This wonderful and delicious cake was made by a local artist. She made the little boy and the golf cart from the clipart collection and they turned out amazing.

The candy buffet turned out exactly as I imagined it! Lots of candy in blue, green and white. For the backdrop I used a synthetic grass rug I found at The Home Depot, hanged it from the tent and covered the top with several tissue paper pom poms I made. The banner finished off the look I was going for.

Here are some amazing pics of the candy and other personalized items on the candy buffet.. We had Cake pops made by a local vendor at Cake Pops by M, apple rings, apple licorice, popcorn, gumballs, M&M's, sixlets, rock candy and swirl pops.

All the kids received a name tag badge upon arrival and a goodie bag including a trophy, personalized pencils, inflatable golf clubs and other cute stuff.

The centerpieces were lime and silver tin pails filled with real golf balls and tees with a #3 flagstick. The tin pails are from Polka Dot Market.

I designed my own version of the "Keep Calm" posters and framed it to decorate the food table. For food we served "backsWINGS" and "SAMWEDGES" among many other delicious treats from a local caterer.

And now a few photos of my little boy having a blast!

We adore you my little sweet boy! Happy 3rd trip around the sun!

{Girly Monkey Birthday}

This is the last of the events that have kept me busy for the last couple of months, at least until July!

And let me tell you, I loved! this party, specially because it was all girly and pink, but also because everything was picture perfect!  A beautiful party for beautiful baby Isabela's 1st birthday.  The theme was inspired by “Curious George Inspired Monkey Birthday Party!" from Paiges of Style .  It was a real pleasure to work with Isabela's mom. She is one crafty and creative mommy and had ideas and details that we incorporated into every little thing.  She even created the popcorn cones, party hats for the kids and pompom cupcake toppers!

I found this adorable girl monkey clip art from Little Fairy Land and used her in the invitations, banner and favor boxes.

Centerpieces were ceramic pots filled with mini bananas and a centerpiece topper.

Food label pom poms created by Isabela's mom and labels to complete the look.

Water bottles for "thirsty monkeys".

The favor boxes to be filled with all the candy yummy-ness...

Since the party was held at Little Gym, we were not allowed to stick anything onto the walls, so we had to attach the banner to the table.

Wrapped Baby food jars for the baby guests.

The candy and cake table...

These chocolate monkey pops were created by a friend of the family.

Our now popular chocolate dipped marshmallows!

.

And, of course, a spectacular birthday hat for little Isabela.

I think this is the cutest party yet, what do you think?

Next up in July: More custom orders for baptisms, birthdays and baby showers and last and most importantly, my own little boy's 3rd birthday party, which I can't wait to show you!

See you soon!

{All Star Birthday}

Now, this next party was for a loyal customer of mine.  I have already planned birthday for two of her kids, and this is the third one, for her little boy Carlos Julián who just turned 6.  She wanted a Sports theme in red, white and blue.  So we designed everything around sports balls and created a great invitation!

So based on this invitation we created lots of fun details.  Pennant banners hanged over the pool and for the menu we created an 'All Star Menu' offering ballpark and stadium food.

The cake and candy buffet table was a huge success.  We created custom candy labels for the candy jars as well as favor tags for the blue favor bags that each kid would fill with toys from the piñata.

For centerpieces we used re-purposed tin buckets and filled them with inflatable sports balls.  Each bucket was personalized with the birthday boy's initial and name.

The cake and cupcakes were created by The Little Cupcake Shop, a local bakery.

The table was framed by a huge pennant birthday banner and cheerleader pom poms!

We were really pleased of how this party turned out.
'Till next time!
